My Favorite language learning website is FluentU. This website has a variety of videos with different topics like popular talk shows,music videos and commercials. So, FluentU takes those real videos and turns them into English learning experience. on another word, it helps to learn english as its spoken in real life. What does make it my Favorite language learning website that its for people who are audio-visual learners. Which Im one of them, Im visual learner. Also, its for people who want to learn english with fun content. I highly recommended this website for who are interesting in learning english in affective way.
Hi Laila! I liked your demonstration, and FluentU seems like great software with authentic materials. I don't like the idea of paying for it, though! What about having students subscribe to YouTube channels recommended by the teacher? Would that be close to the same thing or no?
ReplyDeleteHi Heather, glad to see your comment here. No I don't think so. When you watch a vedio in Youtube you can't click on the word that you don't know. Which is the opposite of what Fluent U does. By using Fluent U, you can click on the new words that you don't know and it will show you the definition of the word and more explanation. Like giving you more examples and pictures.
